MAKERERE PROJECT OPPORTUNITY<\/h1>\n

Beyond Uganda is honored to be picked as a partner organization with the Hazel Lewis Initiative. At the young age of 12 years old, Hazel Morgan was faced with a very difficult life circumstance that forced her to sign herself into an orphanage. Through intentional nurturing Hazel grew and went on to marry Jim Lewis, Sr. and together they had 3 children. Hazel has lived a fruitful, successful life filled with faith, hope and love.<\/p>\n

The Hazel Lewis Initiative partners with like minded organizations to advocate for orphans and needy children around the world that need that same intentional person to invest in their lives and change their future and story forever. Together with Beyond Uganda, the\u00a0Makerere<\/span>\u00a0Project was born from the need of hundreds of children living on the city streets and living in the surrounding slums. Each child sponsored will be given the opportunity to be in safe housing, receive nutritional food and go to school often for the first time ever and every child from the\u00a0Makerere<\/span>\u00a0Project is sponsored in honor of Hazel Lewis and her legacy to see all children treated with dignity and given a chance for a better life.
