To accomplish this, we use a pooled funding model, in which sponsorship contributions are combined into a centralized fund and distributed monthly to each project site.

After essential operational and program costs are covered, funds are allocated to ensure that all sponsored children continue to receive care, even if individual sponsorship payments are delayed or temporarily missed. This model allows Beyond Uganda to steward resources responsibly, maintain program stability, and remain compliant with U.S. nonprofit financial regulations.

By pooling funds, we are able to minimize administrative overhead and ensure that resources are directed toward direct care and impact. This approach helps protect children from interruptions in services and allows our local teams to provide reliable, holistic support to every child entrusted to our care.

[/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”DO YOU GIVE MONEY DIRECTLY TO CHILDREN OR FAMILIES?” _builder_version=”4.22.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” open=”off”]

No. Beyond Uganda does not provide cash directly to children or families. Local leaders and church partners understand their communities deeply and are best positioned to assess needs, provide oversight, and ensure funds are used effectively.

Through this model, Beyond Uganda ensures support contributes to a child’s long-term growth and stability, helping equip them with the care, education, and guidance needed to break cycles of poverty.

[/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”ARE DESIGNATED FUNDS ALSO POOLED?” open=”off” _builder_version=”4.22.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]

No. Beyond Uganda only pools child sponsorship funds, as they are intended to support multiple children and shared program needs at each project site.

When donors give to a designated project, those funds are restricted and used solely for the specific purpose for which they were given.
