Spring Break Trip
April 1 – 11, 2020 (Limit 15)
Calling all students! Your spring break will never be the same as you spend your time in Uganda, Africa learning how people your very age live daily on the other side of the world. You will be serving in a village school in the classroom and on the soccer field and then travel to another part of the country as you see the slum areas of the capital city of Kampala. This year do something beyond yourself and be a part of impact this spring break.
Labor of Love Medical Trip
June 18 – 28, 2020 (Limit 10 per trip)
Join Labor of Love and Beyond Uganda as we return to Uganda to provide lifesaving care and extensive health education in the villages of Makerere, Bugiri, and Namayemba. The team will participate in empowering communities to take steps for better preventative care through community health education. This is achieved by partnering with the Ministry of Health by having medical camps that focus on prenatal, and postpartum women services, HIV, TB, Malaria testing, and immunizations in order provide treatment to a population with little to no resources for care. Assessments by healthcare workers will also done and referrals made as needed.
